玛丽·卡尔（ Mary Karr）
1955年生于美国得克萨斯州。美国诗人、作家。
1989年曾因诗作荣获怀丁作家奖，之后又相继荣获手推车奖（1995）、古根海姆奖（2004），而让她真正蜚声国际的作品是1995年出版的回忆录《只要说出来你就会好很多》（The Liars' Club: A Memoir），出版后登上《纽约时报》畅销榜，被《时代》《娱乐周刊》《纽约时报》等媒体评选为1995年年度图书。她的其他作品包括《自我与面具：回忆录写作的艺术》、回忆录《彻丽》，以及诗集《魔鬼之旅》等。卡尔是美国锡拉丘兹大学的文学教授，现居纽约州。
