龙飞湖南常德人，1984年生，2005年毕业于南京大学，获理学学士学位。同年进入清华大学直接攻读博士学位。2006年赴德国汉堡大学进行多模交互的相关研究。2007年以访问学生身份进入美国耶鲁大学进行计算机网络技术相关研究，为期15个月。曾参与国家863项目、国家自然科学杰出青年基金和多项国家自然科学基金项目的研究。主要研究方向为卫星网络路由、路由协议设计与优化，对云计算和多模态交互等领域也有所涉及。在国内外发表SCI和El检索论文10余篇。
