UNIX 看似是无心插柳,实际是这种宽容的科研环境下的必然结果。而公司为了牟利和避嫌为 UNIX 设计的的高额专利反而促成了“百家争鸣”。minix 的小而美,GNU 内核的缺失,迫使 Linus 直接撸出 Linux。几次兼并和分拆让贝尔实验室分崩离析,最后 1127 也不复存在。值得注意的是文字处理和编辑在技术演进中扮演着重要的催化剂的角色。

其实就是大佬回忆一下光辉岁月(不止他自己的),但人家就是这么厉害,你有什么办法? AT & T 那种宽松自由的环境,我们是盼不到的了(其实连独立办公室都很难想象)。
