不知道这套书是不是introduction性质的，即便如此fantasy studies真的这么浅薄么?不敢相信。文本量不少，但几乎都是描述性而非研究性的。没有什么亮眼的新观点，失望...

可能是对New critical idiom这套书的期望太高，看完失望也比较大。并没有达到综述前人理论并提出新理论方向的高度，只在理论章泛泛举了下Todorov，Jackson, Hume等人，对fantasy的定义还是沿用Todorov的marvellous，但是为什么这个定义好呢？没有明说。后面章节的具体文本细读感觉缺乏主线，很多只是罗列了一下情节。
