The worst book of the series and it's so bad in so many ways. Somehow Maas manages to ignore all other key characters while stretching the story - in which nothing happens! - into over 700 pages. 90% is the same old PTSD drama and training, which equals to modern-day gym exercise, sex, and some female bonding. This series should've ended at book 3.

2024 | 06 整个系列最爱这本。Nasta刻薄鲁莽的不完美反而更能塑造出她的血肉，角色立起来十分能说动人心。在湖边对Cassian的自白直接把我共情哭。虽然是一个十分冗长的故事，但还会有看第二遍的冲动。我太喜欢Nasta和Cassian之间的纠缠了。

系列第五本，整本书最主要的两件事是训练和sex，一句话概括全书内容：体能训练（或者健身）➕爱情（或者sex）➡️对抗心灵创伤（或抑郁）。 期待第六本，有一种预感，Elain的官配可能不是Lucien， 而是Azriel。如果那样的话，Lucien和Tamlin这对兄弟可太可怜了🥺。

其实接触这个大名鼎鼎的a court of thorns and roses系列 是因为这个新出的“外传” 女主是原本三部曲里面很有争议的一个人物 刚开始觉得很好看 但是看完前三部 觉得有点狗尾续貂 有点页数太多了 多打一分为了初见整个系列的白月光

挺索然无味，但是看到最后nesta的改变还是挺欣慰的。这部的lovemaking描写过于有冲击力了……Cassian你就是一只lovesick puppy……（是不是还会有续集啊）
