People judge gender non-conformity because they are insecure about their identities. If they weren't, then gender variance wouldn't be so heavily policed. Gender non-conformity causes such a huge reaction because we're consistently taught that there are only two fixed and universal genders. The thing about disgust is that it makes prejudice physical. And just because something is physical doesn't mean that it's *natural*. In fact, our bodies are trained to respond to certain things over others. Learned behaviors can also be *unlearned*: it's possible to develop more kind and just ways of relating to ourselves and one another. What we look like isn't gross; what is truly disgusting is how we shame one another for our physical appearances.
We do remarkable things with jealousy and fear. Rather than naming them and acknowledging them when we are operating from them, we repress them and pretend they aren't there. 论据是不充分的,但我支持取消标准和分类。尊重个体的多样特征当然好,只是要为管理的方便和生殖目的服务的话,authorities怎么可能同意呢。另外我疑惑的是,既然sex和gender都不用二元化分,那也就不存在trans一说了吧。You can just simply be who you are.

The word ‘gender-nonconforming’ presumes the gender binary. The language itself as a mean to enforce the normative needs to be dismantled.
