对于affect studies的局限性的揭露很有洞见。但是匠气有余,灵气不足。(feeling, affect, affective, affectability, affection...满天飞真的有点overdosed。

速读了一下导论。只能说,最令人激动的东西就是标题里的disaffected和unfeeling这俩概念的字面,但也仅此而已了。我发现美国近几年的不少学术著作都是如此,总能提出一些看起来非常fancy的概念,但一到具体论述就匠气十足,令人失望。不过,至少比国内的废纸博论要好得多。

写的好棒!深挖普世同情背后居高临下的实质,正是因为惧怕disaffection才把它打入冷宫,投射给异类,但如今是时候激活它,正视所有的负面情绪
