Hoang-Yen Nguyen is now a lecturer at Faculty of Oriental Studies of Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam. Hoang-Yen Nguyen holds a Master and Ph.D. at the Department of Chinese Literature, National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan ROC. Born in Hanoi, Vietnam in 1985. Her interested field is comparative literature and culture between Vietnam and China, Vietnamese Chinese, folklore, Contemporary Chinese society. Her current research is regarding literature and culture exchange between Vietnam and China during the 18th, 19th century, which focuses on Vietnamese envoys' works and documents during this period.
