很多关于食物及其词源的fun facts,读起来特别有意思;不过里面提到越南河粉phở源自于法语pot-au-feu法式蔬菜炖肉,我觉得不太可能,这两个菜差别太大了好吗?我觉得最可能的还是源于中文(粤语)里的“粉”,很多学者也持这个观点,但作者在书中完全没有提到,果然还是英语世界的傲慢
