温馨可爱的故事，语言也精简得当。但整部情节特别容易猜着，几乎没有后劲，如同读了一部简短版的Anne of Green Gables，让我几乎有点错觉，难不成这是一个children author? 感觉作者有些被overrated了。

看了电影之后把书翻出来看。难得电影书籍都让人回味的作品。 无人关注的女孩和失去独子的夫妇互相寄养的故事，很安静但不乏味。 喜欢小姑娘奔跑去取信的情节，喜欢她最后跑向夫妻俩的请假，喜欢最后那句话，i call him, i warn him。
