亨利的这本900页(法)的巨著可以说是20世纪最重要的几本哲学著作之一,然而却被忽视了半个世纪,马里翁读这本书时非常惊讶,以至于书竟然从手中滑落。亨利总结了他之前所有现象学,将意向性变为逆意向性,建立了内在性即生命现象学,几乎他之后所有的著作都源于此,他开创了现象学的新方法。
