2. Our bank was the first in China to handle international credit card business as agency. To be exact, it was in 1981 when it accepted 7 types of credit cards: Diner Card, VISA Card, Master Card, American Express Card, JCB Card, Million Card and US Federal Card.
我行是中国最早作为代理办理国际信用卡的。具体的说是1981年初开始的，一共有7种：大莱卡、维萨卡、万事达卡、运通卡、JCB 卡、百万卡和联邦卡。

4. In order to make it convenient for people visiting China to draw cash, international credit card issuers designated Bank of China as their issuing agency. A Credit Card Agency Agreement was concluded with each of them, specifying terms and conditions in respect to transportation, sale, redemption of credit cards, designated merchants, loss report, reimbursement, benefit sharing, etc.
这些国际信用卡发卡机构为了满足访华人员用钱方便的要求，委托中国银行作为他们的发卡代理行，理协议，规定送卡销售回收特约商户挂失报销收入分成等详细办法。
5. The advantages of such credit card is that it is easy to carry and convenient to use. When any cardholders come to China, they need not carry much cash or other payment instruments with them. At any designated merchants, they pay their bills for purchase or consumption by swiping the credit card. They only need to produce their valid credentials including passport and sign on the drawing slip, and then the bills are paid instantly. It is fast and safe indeed.
国际信用卡携带和使用都很方便，来中国不必携带大量现钞，或者其他支付工具，在特约商户购物消费，通过刷卡方式结账，只需出示包括护照在内的有效身份证，并在取款单上签名即可。既安全又快捷。
6. Great Wall debit card in 1986 and international Great Wall card in August 2004. It is named Great Wall Euro Card usable in Asian countries and regions.
