罗威廉（William T.Rowe），美国约翰霍普金斯大学历史系教授，东亚研究中心主任，当代美国最有影响的汉学家之一。主要研究方向为东亚史、城市社会史。罗威廉1967年获得美国维思里安大学(Wesleyan University)英文文学学士学位，1980年获得美国哥伦比亚大学博士学位。1982年以来一直执教于美国约翰·霍普金斯大学历史系，现任John & Diane Cooke中国史讲座教授、历史系主任。同时他也是美国《晚期中华帝国》(Late Imperial China)杂志主编、美国《近代中国》(Modern China)和《城市史杂志》(Journal of Urban History)编委。
