Dr . Laura Portolese Dias is a professor at Shoreline Community College in Washington, where she teaches fashion courses, introduction to business, international business, and essentials of supervision. In addition, she has taught fashion courses for Central Washington University and business courses for City University.
Dr. Portolese Dias is involved in development of a new fashion merchandising program at Shoreline Community College, as well as various nationally recognized entrepreneurship projects.
Previously, Dr. Portolese Dias was the academic director for the fashion merchandising, visual merchandising, and fashion design programs at the Art Institute of Seattle. In addition, she has many years of fashion and business experience.
Dr. Portolese Dias lives in Seattle, Washington with her husband, Alain, and two dogs, Sam and Casey. She is an avid traveler and golfer.
