Simple-plotted and flat-charactered as the play appears to be, Arthur Miller's work should never be underestimated, for he is a better craftsman at dealing with mysterious elements like karma, complex or even fate. Though never a lower-class hero, Miller sincerely knows their sufferings and sorrows.

比起之前看的NTLive，剧本里有些细节更值得琢磨，而且即使是文字版也呈现出了那种难以形容的张力。但是AM这个本子情节真的很简单，不是很爱。

力量与性 还有弗洛伊德 戏剧里该有的都有了. 在追求独立的女性中保全自己的男性的权威与地位 。EddieCarbone是令人同情的，他的悲剧仍会在这个家庭中重演。律师冷眼旁观的角色 见证着剧中人的堕落 却无能为力。
