虽然书中不少观点有重复,尤其是指数基金和基金治理这块,但我倾向于把这些看成John Bogle对重点原则(inflexible principles)的梳理和重申。我看到有读者把这本600多页的书就总结成关于指数基金投资的几行话,这挺可惜的。因为作者还大量谈及了基金行业治理方面的结构性问题以及基金达到一定体量的困境等等。另外,作者最后花了不少笔墨提到自己创立Vanguard的过程和对企业的理解,挺... 虽然书中不少观点有重复,尤其是指数基金和基金治理这块,但我倾向于把这些看成John Bogle对重点原则(inflexible principles)的梳理和重申。我看到有读者把这本600多页的书就总结成关于指数基金投资的几行话,这挺可惜的。因为作者还大量谈及了基金行业治理方面的结构性问题以及基金达到一定体量的困境等等。另外,作者最后花了不少笔墨提到自己创立Vanguard的过程和对企业的理解,挺有趣的。语言方面,John Bogle文笔还是非常简练和朴实,没有过多的行话。可能唯一不足的是,文中用了过多了破折号,挺影响阅读的,主语拖得老长,隔了好几十个单词才找到谓语,不过这可能是他的风格或者那年代的流行写法。 (展开)
