威廉‧波爾克（William R‧ Polk）

出生於德州，是美國第十一任總統詹姆士‧波爾克的親戚。中東歷史與政治專家，外國政策顧問。曾任哈佛大學與芝加哥大學教授，甘迺迪總統時期的國務院政策企劃評議會會員，專門中東與北非政策。也曾參與古巴飛彈危機處理小組。主持第二十屆帕格沃什科學和世界事務會議核武會議。阿德萊•史蒂文森國際事務機構主席，美國外交關係協會會員。曾在超過一百所不同的大學及高等教育機構講學。
