but when author turned to the page of america, who got the panama canal, there is something arrogant i think.

地球的故事。值得一读，房龙这本书写于1930年前后，正值一战结束，二战爆发前，本书基于地理来谈论各地的历史，对1919后划分的新欧洲格局做了讨论，对亚洲各国历史做了简述，其中对中国未来的预测，放在近百年后的今天，可见其对历史的把握，全书语言简单平实，但需要一定的历史、地理积累才能懂得其中的奥义。

怎么说呢，房龙的书就是写得不吸引人…也许是知识在我的射程之内。对于不了解世界的人来说还是很有意思的？ 科普视频有意思多了。与时俱进吧

地理+历史，有些角度让人眼前一亮，但是某些地方有点一般。适合中考完后打算学地理的高中生和地理老师。

2010年在新华书店线下买的，好怀念那时啊。不过书里自己也提到了原版里对中国的认知与立场有问题，除了编辑告诫外自己也要多加辨别。
