They part the next day with vague promises to keep in touch as Dexter sets off to travel the world and Emma returns to her working-class family in Leeds to figure out what she’ll do next. Smart, funny, bittersweet, tender and melancholy. 文笔太好了，笔触细腻而给人以力量。由于不存在篇幅局限，人物和故事在纸张上得以自由舒展，其全貌比电影改编版所塑造出来的要动人多了。自高中毕业买完英文原版到现在，拖了许久终于啃完。一个奇怪发现：这部小说莫名适合搭配《我的天才女友》系列剧集的OST阅读。
