I've listened to it so many times that it seems I'm incapable of judging good from bad...But this lacks the sharpness and real rancor of the original for sure. The mystery it tries to stretch out fall... The mystery it tries to stretch out falls flat, and the secondary plot is whimsical without apparent reason. The language is riddled with clichés. Go read Louise Fitzhugh's sequels instead. (展开)
