PKD is undoubtedly beyond a sci-fi author, in a way that all the regular scientific settings are of no importance but the humanity, the perplexed inner self and the ultimate interrogation of life and death is the underlying sketch of the story. When drafting the last few chapters, PDK must be high himself :))

情节开展完全不可信、角色形象混乱模糊、对话幼稚却又令人欲罢不能，一口气看到最后结尾之随意让人气得想撕书之余又久久沉浸于全书那无底的迷幻、猜疑与巨大虚无感中，这大概就是PKD的独特魅力吧。。。

我是先看的翻译版本，然后听的有声书，所以听起来没什么压力。作者脑洞很大，剧情荒诞。

How can something so original and fascinating written so badly. This is probably the best bad novel I have ever read.

重读，只要我重读pkd次数够多，他所有书都会变成五星。读他故事感觉就像，你走在路上，突然看到一个人伸手往上一捅，整个世界就开始漏气了…怎么解释？没法子，你只能选择相信，这事就这样了，也不怪谁。后来的《黑客帝国》也有类似的主题，不过pkd是真的怕这是真的，那种恐惧…无与伦比。

仿生羊后我看过的第二本PKD的小说。只有两百多页我以为会是非常casual的一次阅读体验，没想到本书时间线混乱失真，前后矛盾，Runciter的各种出现和预告犹如呓语。让我想起了以前读Frank Herbert的体验。这是一本典型的defy explanation的小说，不少情节涉及到对于afterlife / entropy / alienation 的讨论，也穿插着许多黑色幽默和讥讽（比如Joe Chip公寓里无处不在的收费物件，荒唐又愚蠢的投币门，和现代社会生活里各类subscription以及整体的culture of consumerism不谋而合）整本书读下来感觉像是一个downward spiral, 越往后读仿佛逐渐卷入一个荒诞和诡异的噩梦。
