一个idea用一两页讲清的想法很appealing,但只能作为众多topics检索目录,想要深入了解某位作者某一观点,还是要读其思想原著。

前言中提到的几篇文章确实不错。如 Nicolas Christakis、Clay Shirk的,Paul Saffo的time span illusion.他们对气候变化的担忧,让我觉得我们关注的果然不是一个层次。

太难读了,在我Kindle里放了六七年,最近终于咬牙读完了。学科跨度太广,论证逻辑也不是很清晰(毕竟是概要),要我再花这么大力气得到这么点takeaways我可不干了。。。因为知识有不可捉摸性,所以在理解和使用它的时候应该更加小心,包容和质疑他的人答案。知识应该被当做一种假设;控制注意力的要点不是咬紧牙关抵制诱惑,而是分配注意力;科学论断:证有不证无。能减少很多无意义的科技争论。

其实不是书,而是主题相近的文章的大合集,适合碎片化时间读着玩。想要系统化地学习还是得翻主题书。
