数学天才＋段子手＝简直可以成精；言简意赅的哲学写作（尽管如他怀特海导师所言，有时不够深刻）对idealism的一针见血的吐槽，发反战小册子发到坐牢，换衣服一样乐此不疲地换哲学立场，暗恋师母...如果可以会见历史上的名人 必须是剑桥时期年轻的Russell 了！

讲两个小段子：一，波兰作家约瑟夫康拉德非常憎恨俄国人，以致于连带憎恨托尔斯泰和陀思妥耶夫斯基；二，1962年中印战争后，天朝的总理和天竺的总理，分别给罗素写亲笔信表达感激之情；这是何等的荣光；罗素全文登载了两位政治家的来函。书中还提了很多他访问中国的见闻和他的诸多观感，这里略去不表。书很有可读性，语言也很精到，不过自吹自擂的味道还是掩饰不住，扣一星。
