Buffett is the chairman, CEO and largest shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway, and is consistently ranked among the world's wealthiest people. He was ranked as the world's wealthiest person in 2008 and as the third wealthiest in 2015. In 2012 Time named Buffett one of the world's most influential people.
Buffett is often referred to as the "Wizard of Omaha" or "Oracle of Omaha," or the "Sage of Omaha," and is noted for his adherence to value investing and for his personal frugality despite his immense wealth. Buffett is a notable philanthropist, having pledged to give away 99 percent of his fortune to philanthropic causes, primarily via the Gates Foundation. On April 11, 2012, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, for which he successfully completed treatment in September 2012. Buffett is also active in contributing to political causes, having endorsed Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton for president during the 2016 campaign season.

Warren Buffett说这本是最能表达他真实想法的书。 比09年版的多了一点内容,结构也稍微改了一些。

有点经济学门槛的书,难懂,明天开始再看一遍中文版//执着于modern financial theory的指标却忽视无法轻易量化的现实条件,会造成误判。多么好的论据,正好能用在我这篇论文里。//看得出巴菲特应该是N人,有很好的思维能力。

被巴菲特的耿直逗笑了 一针见血的大实话 diss了IB、PE 印象深刻的还有老巴也看卡尔萨根!

肯定会再重复读很多次,也几乎可以肯定随着阅历和经验、知识和见识的增加读起来一定会有新的感悟。读完对价值投资和企业经营有了新的认识,也稍微能理解一点所谓的投资者不靠价格投机赚钱,而是享受拥有一门生意的回报。之前一直把巴菲特当做一个基金管理人(BH作为它的vehicle),现在觉得他的确是a businessman with great entrepreneurship inherently

刚看完prologue 已觉字字珠玑 字里行间全是人生和投资的智慧 对accounting的强调让我觉得 是不是应该回去把accounting学位念完。。
