This book provides a framework on how to manage startup efficiently, which is under a conceptual umbrella of "customer development" created by the author. By effiiency I mean 1) test the market (market type) and 2) control the cash burn rate. I personally believe there are quite a few hands-on practices of the business processes for startups. However, as a marketer, I guess the concepts about market segmentation(new/established market) and customer evanglist process are not new. I'd rather use it as a guidebook for enterprenuership than a textbook.
