Where do you want to go and how will you get there
1、首先是确定你有多少事情需要你处理,即collect。把你需要处理的所有stuff放到你的in-basket中;
如果是不是,则将其归为三类:trash(垃圾),someday(以后有机会了再来解决),reference(归类参考)。
(a)delegate it:wait someone else to do it.即看事情是否可以推迟,是否可以让别人来做这件事情;
你需要建立自己的一个runway actions, someday/maybe projects, one-two years goals, three-five years goals.
At some point you must clarify the larger outcomes, the long-term goals, the visions and prnciples that ultimately drive and test your decisions. What are your key goals and objectives in your work? What should you have in place a year or three years from now? How is your career going? Is this the life-style that is most fulfilling to you? Are you doing what you really want or need to do, from a deeper and longer-term perspective?
There are only two problems in life:(1)you know what you want, and you don't know how to get it;and/or (2)you don't know what you want. If that's true then there are only two solutions:
A.Make it up;
B.Make it happen;
Once you’ve decided that there is something to be changed and a mold to fill, you ask yourself, “How do I now make this happen?” and/or “What resources do I need to allocate to make it happen?” (“What’s the next action?”). Your life and work are made up of outcomes and actions. When your operational behavior is grooved to organize everything that comes your way, at all levels, based upon those dynamics, a deep alignment occurs, and wondrous things emerge. You become highly productive. You make things up, and you make them happen.
