Feeling right是不错，follow your heart更是应该，但是像个小孩一样，四处要人擦屁股，即使出于无知，对别人而言却是切实的恶意。
学术一下，这本书叙事很有意思，各种omniscient，但是Updike给这么一群混混糟糟的人的心理写得那么文雅细致，真有点和他们的所做作为无法匹配，读起来时时觉得突兀。

想用demure（modest or shy especially in a playful or provocative way）来形容此书。无论评论怎样我都喜欢厄普代克。如此狂妄、骚动而温情，总是让我想起几年前的自己。
