花了一个月读了105年前的那个八月，那些谋划与散漫，自负与懦弱，骄傲与恐惧，圆滑与固执，那些亲手编织了宏大的历史的人，在当时谁也不知道结局。只有回头用上帝视角看的时候，才更觉得个人的奋斗真的无关紧要。

读了二三十页，不过这是当年JFK在处理古巴导弹危机时推荐给将军们读过的一本书

考据与文笔都极漂亮的历史写作，荡气回肠，又不至于酸笨催煽，格调高雅，行文“严肃活泼”，偶尔也犀利，但整体思路和评断不失睿智冷静，分寸感真的好，节奏的把控像BBC做的纪录片，三大集各有主题段落清晰，对我而言已经可以归入史诗级了。 记得在 历史的技艺 里，作者还恭维过更畅销的前辈夏依勒，相对而言，个人觉得 第三帝国 那本史料价值远高于实际水准（文笔是短板，但说到底文笔也不是根本问题）写历史最考验的还是... 考据与文笔都极漂亮的历史写作，荡气回肠，又不至于酸笨催煽，格调高雅，行文“严肃活泼”，偶尔也犀利，但整体思路和评断不失睿智冷静，分寸感真的好，节奏的把控像BBC做的纪录片，三大集各有主题段落清晰，对我而言已经可以归入史诗级了。 记得在 历史的技艺 里，作者还恭维过更畅销的前辈夏依勒，相对而言，个人觉得 第三帝国 那本史料价值远高于实际水准（文笔是短板，但说到底文笔也不是根本问题）写历史最考验的还是组织归结材料的能力，纵深的拷问，第三帝国给我最大的印象就是记者范儿，一个特写接着一个特写，累了随手加叙加议，对比特写还长的篇幅基本上已经撒手不管了，除了遵守时间线对结构也没什么想法，经常大放厥词很不严肃。但八月炮火明显是有学术素养的，先有观点和结构然后材料按需分配，比如东西线就没有按时间线搅在一起。 (展开)
