事后诸葛亮地说一句，美国警察也太废了吧！！！这是错过了多少破案的机会啊！当然这个锅也许应该由bugliosi自己背，如此线索庞杂的世纪巨案，写得条分缕析，把警察屡屡错过的破案关键都一一列出，许多微不足道的线索都得到后文的解释与呼应，真的不愧是州检察官(˘͈ᵕ ˘͈❀)

大学的时候读的，最近在收集读过的书终于想起来这本。这本可以说是最全面的深入曼森家族的书了，读的时候很多细节让人不寒而栗，可以看到毒品和性如果放纵会让人的精神堕落到什么程度，以至于建立起一个邪教的世界观，去残杀无辜的人甚至孩子。也有很多作者在法庭上斗智斗勇的环节，可以看到这样一件轰动全美的案子是如何推进，如何定罪的
