结尾很微妙:我们无法肯定地说,如果奥斯曼延续下去,中东就一定会比现在更好。但我们可以肯定地说,在中东,那些因为各种机缘而更能够掌握自己命运的民族,过得比那些不幸的邻居要好。想想伊朗与土耳其和 叙利亚/伊拉克/埃及/巴勒斯坦 的对比,这话没毛病。但放在东亚,大陆与日韩港台的对比就颇令人唏嘘了。那么,还是那个问题,“谁有罪?”
