因为读书会读了intro。他提出当代正统心理学的范式过分依赖统计学，把所有异数都理解为不正常，这是不对的。这一点我非常认同。但是他自己提出的那一套acorn theory我是不太买单的，起码在intro部分完全不能。它让我开始思考：心理学理论，如果不依赖于统计学的背书（或者可以理解成一种scientific approach）那么它和宗教、玄学试图对人的生命进行的解释有什么区别呢？

洋洋洒洒，列举了许多人物和事例，来说明一些难以用“眼见为实”的科学理论来解释的观点。第一章中的事例，几乎可以作为幼儿教育范本，本书作为心理学补充读物，也很好。
