桑德拉·诺尔·哈蒙德(Sandra Noll Hammond)
曾在纽约茱莉亚音乐学院、大都会歌剧院芭蕾舞团和芭蕾舞剧学院接受芭蕾舞训练,与芭蕾舞剧团、康涅狄格歌剧院、亚利桑那舞蹈剧院和太平洋芭蕾舞团合作演出。哈蒙德的教学生涯主要集中在高等教育中的芭蕾舞,在亚利桑那大学图森分校发展舞蹈专业方面发挥了重要作用,后在夏威夷大学的戏剧和舞蹈系担任舞蹈主任。

作为一个门外汉,提到芭蕾,我脑海中跳出来的是“优雅、浪漫、高贵”等等美好的字眼。跳过了技术部分,阅读了书中的芭蕾历史,也算对这个高贵的舞种的发展有了些许的了解。

我买来主要是帮助我记忆芭蕾术语的,整体来说,对于这个发展不过500年的艺术?运动?这本书给到的信息算是全面的,但千万别想靠这本书来练习,流动的事物还是得靠流动的方式才能得以最佳还原。
