看过Dawkins的《自私的基因》和《盲眼钟表匠》，这本的内容更为广泛，从人工驯养到自然选择，从年代测量到大陆漂移，各种生物演化的证据 - 化石、解剖结构、基因分子，每个章节都很吸引人。Dawkins的语言热情有力、且充满好奇心，他是一位非常棒的科学家作者！
