有点像日本版的《基督山伯爵》，读了20%，觉得作者主要是用西方人视角看日本和亚洲文化，所以欧美读者都很喜欢，但是我读的时候体会到了一种淡淡的condescending arrogance from the black ship people， 遂弃之。

确实长，字小行密且厚，但看起来挺爽的。很流畅。里面日本男主后来是三船敏郎演的。故事很好看，文化差异和人物个性虽然有不少，怎么说，商业化的类型感，但整体人物塑造都很有意思。
