好书。印度问题一大堆，但西方人就是爱呀

In Spite of the Gods: The Strange Rise of Modern India 5月20日前天晚上把这本书看完。写得很好，文笔风趣、观点深刻、证据充实、结构清晰。读此书是我想在去印度之前做点功课，对印度先多少有点了解。此书不仅提供了很多我本来一无所知的背景知识，也引发了很多思考。现... (展开)

印度通！值得推荐

这本书最大的特点，就是内容全面，权威，也许还要加上：很有时效——这是印度2006年的畅销书之一，延至一年后才出了中文版，出版操作算是快的吧。毕竟这不是《哈利波特》，出版商不可能追求如此的速度，而且中信出版社的翻译质量应该比较靠谱（新星出版社的新书翻译就差多了）... (展开)
