安德鲁·阿伯特（Andrew Abbott，1948— ）， 芝加哥大学社会学教授，美国艺术与科学院院士。 1982 年获芝加哥大学社会学博士，后任教于罗格斯大学， 1991 年返回芝加哥大学社会学系执教。 1993—1996 年，任芝加哥大学学院社会科学部长。1999 —2002 年，任芝加哥大学社会学系主任。 2000—2016 年，任《美国社会学期刊》主编。他的研究主要集中于职业社会学、知识社会学和社会理论。主要著作包括《职业系统》（1988）、《学系与学科》（1999）、《学科的混沌》（2001）、《时间之重》（2001）、《发现方法》（2004）、《过程社会学》（2016）等。
译者邢宇宙，北京工业大学文法学部副教授、社会工作系主任，主要研究方向为社会组织、社会治理等。
