Lawrence Wright (born August 2, 1947) is a Pulitzer Prize-winning American author, screenwriter, staff writer for The New Yorker magazine, and fellow at the Center for Law and Security at the New York University School of Law. He is a graduate of Tulane University, and for two years taught at the American University in Cairo in Egypt.

资料收集的太认真了,人物描述的十分生动,对相关国家的历史文化社会背景都有很有洞见的解释,文笔也非常好。

早就看过中文版了,就一畅销书随便看看爽一把的那种,没想到原著文笔一气呵成,厚厚一个大砖头,明明看过了却根本停不下来,完全沉浸其中、忘乎所以,真是不能不服啊

谁知道作者考证了多少资料才写出的这本书,前半部分算是把基地那点东西理明白了,不过我反而喜欢看后面美国各机构官僚主义窝里斗的部分,而且John O'Neill个人的部分也够让人唏嘘的了
