大概可能好像是第一本完整看完的英语课外书?回想之前在美德法不同公司的工作经验以及和老外打交道的体验,确实验证了书中讲的一些理论,挺有道理的,也想明白了很多事情的个中缘由,推荐混迹外企和多元文化打交道的同学一看

在当今全球化的大背景下,实用性很强的一本书。作者介绍种种理论的时候不是只讲理论,列举了很多例子帮助读者更好的理解。在看的时候一直在思考,既然有那么多的界定,高低语境,决策型和原理型等等,有没有一个普适的沟通处事方法可以适用于不同的工作环境。结论应该是很难。书上的很多个天平可以帮助我们在跨文化沟通上更加游刃有余。如果遇到天平未提及的文化背景,最简单直接的方式应该是来一场开诚布公的对话吧。

想要提高人与人之间沟通和办事效率的都值得一读,本书不仅仅是针对生活于多文化语境或在跨国企业工作的人群。虽然各文化整体在书中提出的八个维度上存在倾向性,但人是独立的个体,每个人的生长环境和经历都不尽相同,也造就了我们在八个方面——沟通、评估、说服、领导、决策、信任、分歧和时间观念上的不同理解和行为。总而言之,看完不仅知道如何更好地和各国同事相处,也理解了我那个朋友为什么总是迟到
