Dan discovered the power of pictures as a business problem-solving tool in the 1990′s when he founded the first marketing communications company in what was then the Soviet Union. Since that eye-opening experience, Dan has been fine-tuning the visual thinking tools he introduces in his books.
Roam received two degrees at the University of California, Santa Cruz: fine art and biology. This combination of art and science kicked off Dan’s cross-disciplinary approach to problem solving. 作为一本可以快速翻阅并且从中学到知识点的书来说，很不错。作者的例子们都很可爱。只是现在所有的表达方式都趋向数字化。很希望看到作者能写一本把视觉学习的方式运用到日常生活中的书。
